The Rufiji Lighthouse is a multi-use building, built by EastARM supporters at the centre of the mission outpost operations in the wild heart of the Rufiji District, Tanzania – purposefully situated en route of villager access to the mighty River Rufiji, the namesake of the area. It stands as a beacon of light and hope for the tribe. Currently it houses our English classes with the village, the primary reason we constructed it. Volunteers from our mission’s partner churches travel from the far ends of the world to stay at the adjacent safari lodge and teach at the school. Villagers of all ages gather at this school, each with an invested reason for learning the English language.

We are looking for new recruits to serve a stint at The Rufiji Lighthouse, Tanzania. Interested? Take the first step and send a message below. We will be in contact.
